Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Amendment Rules, 2026

Notified on 9 September 2026 and effective from 1 January 2027, platforms must run annual "dark pattern" audits, show 30-day prior pricing on discounts, and resolve consumer grievances within 48 hours.
